Tis the season to be jolly - NOT
DOES anyone know who it was who decreed Christmas should now last two months?
Please tell me, so I can go round and force a large fir tree up their backside. Sideways.
I don't suppose I'm the only one who's fed up to the back teeth of Jingle Bells, Ho ho hos and Rudolph already - and there's still five weeks to go.
It drives me mad.
I can understand the shops wanting to sell us things for Christmas in November - even I have bought a couple of presents, in order to spread the cost.
But playing carols, putting up hundreds of decorations and lights and - God forbid - wishing us a merry Christmas at every turn is just going too far.
It actually makes me want to avoid the shops and go and sit in a darkened room.
Next year I think I'll go to Africa for Christmas. They're much more sensible.
